The Rounders
Somewhere back in August of 2000, a rock band based out of Norman by the name of Common Ground, composed of a trio of high school friends Adam Enevoldsen (bass), Ryan Taylor (guitar), and Stu Williamson (drums), decided to throw away their Govn’t Mule t-shirts, burn their Black Crowes’ albums (except for Adam), and become a blues band.
Their current release Now-a-Day Songs (produced by Trent Bell and band), will no doubt surpass the expectations of fans and critics with a wall of sound that extends beyond just a blues album. The Rounders are a true tapestry of American roots music - piecing together layers of acoustic and electric blues, Southern folk, backporch country, and ragtime melody.
